My time is spent as a commercial fisherman in Alaska and also as a painter and potter in Oregon. The simplicity, beauty, and hard work of my summers in Alaska inspire me as I throw pots and paint through the winter in my cozy studio back home. My ceramics are mostly functional dishware.
